Description
Environmentally friendly - Re-usable
✅ Scares away moles from an area of up to 650 m2.
✅ Emits sound and vibration that acts as a "danger signal" for moles - causing them to move away from the area.
✅ Easy to set up in the garden, parks, golf courses and sports centers.
✅ A solar panel ensures charging of the batteries.
✅ Safe for humans and poses no risk to other animals.
✅ Waterproof, so it can be left outside in rain and snow.
An effective radius of 650 m² - perfect for the garden
The mole repeller is designed to protect your garden from disturbing pests and is effective for an area of 650 m². It emits sound waves and underground vibrations that move through the tunnel network and scare away shrews and moles. It is very effective and is very environmentally friendly as well as a humane alternative to lethal traps and poison, but 100% success cannot be guaranteed in some cases as certain rodents become immune to the sound waves.
The solar mole scarer is powered by rechargeable batteries, which when fully charged ensure a problem-free solution, 24 hours a day. When first set up, the scarecrow needs to be in sunlight for up to 2 days to be fully effective.
This autonomous power supply offers a very practical advantage since it can sit in the garden or in a field without depending on another power source.
In ideal situations, the scarecrow is the easy and effective way to get rid of moles and voles, while avoiding the use of lethal traps and poison.
However, certain conditions may affect its performance. The ground should ideally be firm and solid to ensure optimal sound wave and vibration transmission. Loose, soaked or frozen soil is less suitable.
The solar mole repeller does not work effectively against deaf moles or voles or those with impaired hearing. The vibrations and sound waves emitted by the solar scarecrow are of course harmless to people, animals and the environment
INSTALLATION:
This solar cell mole siren is a good alternative and very environmentally friendly compared to flap traps or eg gas. However, a result of 100% cannot be expected as there may be external factors that may apply. For example, if there are no alternative places for a pier, or if the area they occupy offers exceptionally good living conditions, here the sound waves will not be enough to repel them. In addition, animals with impaired hearing or with other physical defects will not react to noise. And over time, the animals can get used to the sound, but you can prevent this by moving it around after a few days to a new place. The solar mole siren emits the sound to the ground in all directions. To maximize the spread of sound waves, avoid placing it near concrete paths or building foundations, and for best results in large areas, install one every 20 meters or so. The nature and density of the soil affects the siren's performance, so before installing it, check the soil. Solid ground provides the best sound transmission. Frozen soil, waterlogged or waterlogged soil is not suitable. 1.) Dig a hole in the ground about 20 cm deep and push the siren's tapered tube into the ground. Do not use a hammer or excessive force when doing this as the siren may be damaged. Don't put it too deep. 2.) Make an electrical connection between the top part and the pipe using the supplied connector. Connect the cable from the bottom part to the top part. The siren is now permanently switched on and in operation. 3.) Attach the upper part of the siren to the pipe as shown. Make sure that the siren is not placed so deep that water can enter the pipe. The solar mole siren should be placed where the solar cells receive the most sunlight, so that the batteries can be charged as much as possible. Once installed, it can take up to 2 days of sunlight before the siren is fully charged and working effectively.
BATTERY INFORMATION:
The solar mole siren is not equipped with an on/off function. To turn it off and put it into storage, charge the battery and then separate the 2 parts and disconnect the cable. If the device is to be stored for a longer period of time, the device must be set up every 6 months in sunlight for a few hours to charge the battery and prevent it from being completely discharged. The batteries for the solar mole siren are built-in and cannot be replaced. Do not remove the batteries. Defective batteries require the entire product to be disposed of. Safety instructions for batteries. • Make sure the batteries are not short-circuited, disassembled or thrown into fire. There is a risk of explosion.
