Cat & Game Free is easy to use. Just insert regular batteries and monitoring starts.
If you have also bought the adapter, just plug it into the socket. Batteries must not be in the device if the adapter is used.

Deer and other game like to follow the same paths and stay in the same places. Cats also have this behavior. Cat & Game has an immediate scaring effect, but the animals may reappear as they like to follow the same paths. When they sense the frightening sound coming again, they change their usual pattern and avoid the area. This may take a few days. In the first days, you can sometimes experience increased traffic, as the animals test what is happening.

In order to maintain the scaring effect and the long-term effect, it is a good idea to move the Cat / Dog & Game Scarer every 3-4 weeks so that the sound comes from a different place. In this way, the animals cannot get used to it.

Remember never to point the deterrent directly at an adjacent lot.

The motion sensor detects movements at a distance of up to 15 m in front of the scarecrow.
