Product is barely visible. Requires no measurements and no power tools, making it much faster to install than other bird wire systems available.

Architects prefer bird post and wire deterrents as the base requires no drilling into the ledge, protecting the listed buildings from damage caused by drilling which can lead to water ingress and stress fractures.

Installation

Can handle many different combinations of ledge depth and length. The strips can be cut to fit perfectly to the depth of any ledge and simply glued in place. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before installing the wires. If the ledge is deeper than the pre-assembled band, simply add an extra section of bird post and wire holder to fit.

We (the manufacturer) suggest wire/threads in max. 2 meter lengths to ensure stability, tightness and strength. For a ledge that is over 2 meters long, simply attach a new wire to the other side of the end post and continue to tie in 2 meter lengths to the end of the ledge.

Each strip comes with 11 pre-attached posts. It is recommended that in most situations you attach a wire/wire to each post, especially if the ledge is a medium or high pressure area. This means a place where pigeons regularly land and/or use it as a roost or nest.
