Assembly:

Glue the bird spikes onto the side frame of the solar modules. If the tips come apart, the solar panels will not be damaged in any way.

The surface to be protected must be free of dust and grease. The adhesive surface can be treated with a primer or cleaning agent for installation.

Good advice and tips for installation:

- Note the temperatures! No sticking to hot modules. Therefore, start as early as possible in the morning (especially in summer, before the panels heat up)

- Before gluing, all surfaces must be cleaned. Use only alcohol-based cleaners or primers (the surface must be free of dust and grease, no solvents!)

- To ensure a good adhesion, the entire surface should be covered with adhesive (do not use the glue sparingly). If the tips are separated, the system remains undamaged.

- The spikes must be glued upwards

- For the top and sides, you can use longer spikes - and then let them stick out so that the pigeons cannot sit on the frame.

- Use shorter spikes for the lower edge of the solar modules so that snow masses don't tear the spikes off when you slide off.

- A big advantage of installing the adjustable spikes is that you can easily move the spikes if you need to clean or repair the system. This means you have free access to the system.
