Field of application:

Suitable for waterproof bonding of wood-based materials, stone, ceramics, concrete, styrofoam and various metals (with the exception of bright aluminium, nickel and chrome in the beige colour).

Complies with voltage group D4 for wood/wood gluing according to EN 204.

Fills and bridges uneven surfaces and irregularities. Good adhesion even on non-absorbent surfaces. Can be used for gluing floor and wall panels to floors, parquet, wood and metal. Suitable for combination bonding of different materials.

For bonding cases where filling and sealing properties are also important. Metal bonds exposed to moisture (exterior) must be sealed and absorbent substrates must be protected from corrosion (eg paint).

Processing:

The adhesive surfaces must be clean, dry, free of release agents and stable. EVT Power Klebfix is applied in beads or with a notched trowel. EVT Power Klebfix reacts in connection with moisture. During this reaction, carbon dioxide is evolved and the adhesive foams slightly. It is therefore recommended to fix, press or weigh the components.

After applying the adhesive, the components must be assembled within 5 or 10 minutes and pressed together. Hold the components to be glued for about two to three hours. The reaction time depends on temperature as well as air and substrate humidity. The final strength of the bond is only reached after several days.
