OUTDOOR SCARECROWS

If you are tired of unexpected visits from cats, dogs, mice, hares, foxes or deer, then here is the solution. An ultrasonic animal scarer that can be adjusted in strength so that you can cover an area of up to 120 degrees and up to 100m2. The device can be set for the different animal species via the rotary knob on the front, as all animals do not respond to the same frequency. The device uses solar cells to charge the rechargeable batteries (not included) so it also works at night.

It is recommended that you charge the batteries before use - as not all rechargeable batteries are 100% charged before use.

We recommend that the scarecrow be placed within approx. 6 metres, where animals move, to achieve the best result.

Setting up the device
Screw the metal rod into the base unit.

Find a suitable location for setting up the unit and consider the following:

• The device's "eye" must be able to see the area you want covered by the device. The device can "see" approx. 10 m forward and at an angle of 120 degrees.

• The sound from the unit does not pass through metal, concrete, etc. so place the unit as free as possible.

• The device should be placed in a place where there are no other sounds, such as roads, playgrounds, etc. to give the best possible result.

• The solar panels should preferably be placed where there is a lot of sun during the day in order to be able to charge the batteries as much as possible.

• The unit is waterproof so it can be placed anywhere outside.

Place the metal rod in the ground so that the unit is approx. 15 cm above the ground (preferably a higher location for larger animals, eg deer and deer), place it horizontally so that the unit looks straight up, eg not "looking" up in the air or down at the ground. Set the device

Left button
This sets how large an area the device must monitor.

Turn clockwise and you increase the monitoring area from 0m up to 10m and at the same time the sensitivity increases.

Right button
This is the switch off button and the button for setting which animal the device will be able to scare.

• Position 1: Mice and Rats.
• Position 2: The above animals plus cats, weasels, mink, rabbits, hares, squirrels and other medium-sized animals.
• Position 3: As the above animals plus foxes, dogs, wild game and other large animals.

Note that at position 3, the device emits both ultrasounds and sounds that can be heard by humans.
