4-way operation

1. At a long distance, the mosquitoes are attracted by ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
2. When the mosquitoes come close, they are attracted by the CO ² emitted from the trap. When the UV light rays hit the coating of titanium dioxide.
3. At close range, the mosquitoes are also attracted by the HEAT that the unit emits.
4. When the mosquitoes come on completely, they are SUCKED into the trap, where they quickly die due to drying out in the air flow

What attracts mosquitoes?

Mosquitoes are attracted by light, by the carbon dioxide (CO ² ) in human exhaled air, by the body heat we radiate and by scent.

The unit emits an amount of CO ² , corresponding to the amount of CO ² that a human emits. When the unit has been running for approx. 30 minutes, at a distance of 20-30 cm, there will be CO ² content in the air corresponding to the CO ² content that can be measured at a similar distance by a human. (The CO ² content in the air is normally 300-400 ppm, around a human it is 700-750 ppm)

The amount of CO ² emitted by the unit does not harm the climate or surroundings.

Please note that on some models there may be some residue from the packaging on the cord. It has no significance and can be washed off with a cloth.

The fluorescent tubes can move slightly during transport, so they should be rotated in place if there is a lack of light in the trap.

TIP: Mosquito traps work best after dusk (late afternoon / evening)
