ProtoxAbScent Odor Remover is supplied in a sealed aluminum foil bag. The aluminum bag is opened and the vacuum-packed inner bag is also opened before the white inner packaging is placed in a bowl or hung up in the room (See more about use).

Effects
ProtoxAbScent Odor remover is supplied in a sealed aluminum foil bag. The aluminum bag is opened and the vacuum-packed inner bag is also opened before the white inner packaging is placed in a sink or hung up in the room (See more about use).
ProtoxAbScent Deodorizer releases chlorine dioxide in very small amounts; amounts ( <0.1 ppm) when exposed to the moisture content of the air. Chlorine dioxide is both an effective disinfectant and at the same time breaks down (oxidises) unpleasant odors.
The ProtoxAbScent bags are designed to release chlorine dioxide slowly, whereby released odors break down as they are released. It is therefore not a matter of using ProtoxAbScent to mask a perfume (masking), but actually to remove the odorous substances.

ProtoxAbScent Odor remover works by the bag emitting chlorine dioxide when it comes into contact with water vapor in the air. Chlorine dioxide breaks down the odor particles by oxygenation (oxidation).
In particularly dry periods (typically in dry winter periods) it may be necessary to help the activation of way. This can be done by placing the ProtoxAbScent bag close to the a cloth/handcloth wrung out with water (eg in a bowl or bucket). The evaporation from the cloth will activate the bag.
ProtoxAbScent Odor Remover does not contain perfumes and after use does not leave any chemicals in the room.
Residual Odor
ProtoxAbScent Odor Remover is intended to remove residual odor. Always try to remove the source of the odor itself if possible (dead animals, soot-black tiredness, animal excrement, etc.) before treatment with ProtoxAbScent.
Use
The ProtoxAbScent bags are delivered sealed in an aluminum foil bag. When putting into use, cut off the top of the outer aluminum foil bag and take out the inner vacuum-packed plastic bag. The felt bag is also opened as the inner white ProtoxAbScent bag can be removed. The bag is placed on a bowl or similar dish; the highest possible place in the room or suspended from the ceiling. This achieves the best effect, as the active substance is best mixed with the room air from a high location.
The ProtoxAbScent bags must never be put directly on; a table, a shelf, on textiles or near metals, as they will cause bleaching or corrosion!
Number of bags:
How many ProtoxAbScent bags to use depends on the volume of the room (air volume). The following square meter specifications are therefore only indicative:

In connection with odor problems after dead animals, people or excrement, it may be necessary to remove floorboards, inserts, formwork boards, etc., if water seeps through; longer time has seeped into the construction.

Note - Before the crawl space (or second room) is damp, this must be dried to an acceptable normal level before using ProtoxAbScent bags. The deodorizer bags can be advantageously used in connection with the winter storage of a boat/campervan or when shutting down a summer house in the winter. The ProtoxAbScent bags will give off a faint chlorine-like odor when in use. This smell disappears quickly when the bag is used up or when the room is ventilated. Safety measures when using ProtoxAbScent:
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Avoidance; to damage the ProtoxAbScent bag when removing the outer bag.
If the ProtoxAbScent bag is damaged, discard it immediately and throw it in an outdoor waste bin. - Do not come into direct contact with water or moisture.
- Do not place in direct sunlight.
- Must not be placed on top of or in the vicinity of a heat source.
- Make sure there is enough space around the bag to avoid bleaching effects.
- Do not expose the bag to other substances, including acids, cleaning agents, etc.

Delivery method: 30 gram bags in an airtight and light-proof outer bag with a vacuum pack inner bag that protects against air and moisture. Consumption: Depends a lot on the amount of odorant, as a rule of thumb, a 30 g bag will give a concentration of approx. 0.15 ppm in a room at 8-10 sqm. with normal ceiling height. The bag develops chlorine dioxide for up to 1 meter down. Storage: Absence has a shelf life of 1 year from the production date if stored cool and in the original, unopened packaging. Absence tolerates frost.
If it is necessary to interrupt the treatment before the bag is "brought out", sow; the activated bag can be stored for a shorter time (up to 14 days) in an airtight plastic container.
