The trap is your tool for monitoring and detecting bed bugs. The purpose of the product is to detect and monitor bed bug infestations.
-> Detects bed bugs and allows for quick action
-> Catches bed bugs in all stages (including eggs)
-> Works immediately after opening
-> Pheromone that lasts for 21 days after opening
The completely unique lure in Nattaro Scout™ consists of an aggregation pheromone which attracts bed bugs in all stages (including eggs). The trap is designed so that the bed bugs can crawl into the trap, but not out of it. Trap and pheromone are easy to use and safe to use.
Nattaro Scout™ bed bug monitoring system This is how the Nattaro Scout works The Nattaro Scout pheromone mimics the natural scent of bed bugs. It attracts all stages, especially eggs, ie females, males and nymphs. Bedbugs can crawl into, but not out of, the trap. Nattaro Scout is very suitable as part of IPM (Integrated Pest Management) Use it as a tool to confirm a suspected infestation or possibly for monitoring the completed control task. Location Since 90% of all bed bug infestations start in the bed, we recommend that you start by looking there. Do a visual inspection, looking for bits of light brown shell residue and dark spots along the mattress seams, under the mattress and on the bed frame. Focus on cracks and crevices. Open the silver bag with the pheromone, place the contents in the Pitfall - the trap with the hole facing up. Feel free to use 2-4 Nattaro Scout per bed, and place them in the darkest place under the bed, preferably near the bed legs/bed rail or between the mattresses. Always place the trap horizontally so that the white bottom always faces downwards and the hole of the trap upwards. Control of the stairs 1) Remove the pitfall from the holder. The lure is active for 21 days after it is taken out of the bag, but it can stay in the trap longer. Leave the monitoring system in place for at least three weeks before replacing the lure and/or moving it to another location. The pheromones should be stored in a refrigerator (4-8°C) in order not to lose their effect. When stored in the refrigerator, they stay fresh for min. 9 months. Shorter periods at room temperature (18-22°C) are fine. Do not expose the lure to freezing temperatures or heat above 28°C. These temperatures will reduce the effectiveness of the lure. Use a cooler bag on hot days. Do not store it in trouser pockets. Always check the product's best before date before using the pheromone. Recycle the pitfall trap The trap can be reused. Wash it in hot soapy water (55°C) or freeze it for 24 hours (-18°) before using elsewhere. By following the regulations for cleaning, you prevent the spread of bed bugs. To avoid spreading an infestation, do not reuse the trap until it has been properly cleaned. Disposal Along with combustible recyclables when possible. Otherwise with the daily renovation.
2) Hold the bottom and turn the upper part counter-clockwise
3) Carefully lift off the upper part to see the inside
4) Open the trap on a hard surface, eg a tray or in a sink Durability and storage
Note! Nattaro Scout is a tool against bedbugs and should not be used for other insects. The pheromone contains chemicals that can cause allergic reactions. Please see the safety data sheet for further information. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
