A-Guard® interferes with the natural ways mice and rats behave and communicate. As well as creating an unbearable environment for the rodents - thereby avoiding the room in question.

The MR 50 with battery covers an open area of up to 50 m². The sound does not affect humans or pets such as cats and dogs. However, particularly sensitive pets may react to the sound. Does not interfere with other electronic equipment.

Mouse & Rat Free emits the unique ultrasound A Guard, a varied and well-adapted ultrasound that deters mice and rats. A Guard disrupts mice and rats' natural way of behaving and communicating and creates an uncomfortable environment for the animals, causing them to avoid the current room. The flashing green LED on the product indicates that A Guard is in operation.

Operations
The deterrent is operated by three pcs. LR20 batteries (alkaline). Place the batteries in the battery compartment (make sure to reverse the +/- poles correctly). Connect/Disconnect the wire from the battery compartment to the deterrent. Turn the ON/OFF switch to ON to start the deterrent. The green LED flashes every three seconds as long as the batteries have power. The batteries last up to six months depending on the quality of the batteries and the ambient temperature.
The product is supplied with two (2) self-adhesive Velcro pieces/Velcro fasteners. Mount one on the back of the deterrent (in the specified area) and the other on the battery compartment. See the location on the drawing.

Child & Pet safe
Harmless to children, cats, dogs, birds and fish. Other rodents such as rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs are also affected by the ultrasound and should therefore not be in the same or adjacent rooms. The product does not affect other electrical equipment.

Location of the product
Place the deterrent on the floor along a wall in a room/rooms where mice and rats tend to stay. Be aware that ultrasound cannot penetrate solid parts such as eg walls, ceilings/ceilings, floors or furniture. The sound is also dampened by soft/soft textiles such as eg curtains. Therefore, be careful to place the device in an open space where the sound waves can spread freely.

When will the pests disappear?
Usually, a change can be seen immediately. In some cases it takes longer. If the pests have already settled, you can temporarily use traps to eradicate the old strain. The traps are then removed and the Mouse & Rat Free is kept as protection against multiple attacks.

Can humans hear the sound?
The human ear can exceptionally perceive ultrasound; if necessary, place the product in a place where it will not disturb.
