How the scarecrow works:
Emits audible sounds and vibrations at intervals. The rodents think the sound is from footsteps on the ground or some other approaching danger. In anxiety, they feel a permanent danger that causes them to hide. Exhausted by this permanent stress, they leave the room.

It emits structure-borne sounds in a radius of 5-10 meters around the device, ie there is a protection zone of approx. 150 m2. This way you can protect the garage, hayloft, attics, partitions... against damage caused by rodents.

EFFICIENCY

The device's effectiveness has been tested and proven by independent laboratories. The structure-borne sounds are vibrations that spread through solid materials and are perceived by the rodents as the sounds of footsteps on the floor or any other approaching danger. They panic, they sense a constant danger that forces them to hide. STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUNDS AND VIBRATIONS

The propagation of a structure-borne sound varies according to the construction and acoustics of the building. The sound reaches the hearing in several different ways.

A distinction is made between airborne and structure-borne sounds.

A - Airborne sounds are caused by a sound source that causes the air to vibrate: eg the human voice, music or the phone ringing...

When the airborne sound meets a partition, it vibrates and transmits the sound to the adjacent room. The airborne sounds are also spread through holes, cracks and gaps, which are called sound leaks.

B - Structure-borne sounds are generally caused by machines: the transmission of the sound takes place through all the external surfaces of the machine to the adjacent building parts such as floor and ceiling. Such as. a washing machine during spinning.

The materials propagate the sound in different ways: dense, massive and heavy materials (glass, concrete or stone) vibrate less than light and thin materials. They reproduce high sound levels, while porous materials (foam or perforated products such as wood panels or plaster) absorb the sounds better.

USER MANUAL

A good installation is of crucial importance to get an optimal result.

1- In an uninhabited room there is a wall (floor, ceiling, wall) or beam which is suitable for propagating the sound as far as possible. For example, the center of a beam.

2- Fix the device using screws on a beam/wall/shelf preferably 1 meter from the floor.

3- Connect the cable to the device and plug the other end of the cable into a socket with 220-240 V. When the device is connected, a green indicator light will start flashing to indicate that it is working, and the device will start to vibrate at intervals of random duration and strength to increase the disruptive effect. Rodents' hearing is finer than that of the human ear. They hear the noise in the walls, partitions, insulation and in other rooms in the house where the human ear cannot hear anything.
