How the trap works

The fly trap is a non-toxic fly trap that both catches and kills. The fly trap contains no insecticides, only an effective attractant and a special yeast. The bait is in a water-soluble bag inside the trap. When the trap is filled with water, the trap starts working after 2-5 hours. The trap attracts and catches all fly species, the house fly, the flesh fly, blow flies, barn flies, etc. except for flies. Once the flies have landed in the trap, there are no escape routes. The yeast in the trap contributes to the flies being dissolved in the liquid. In this way, the catch capacity of the trap is a whopping 20,000 flies, without the need to empty the trap. Instructions for use:

1. Cut a small hole in the top of the bag following the dotted line where the scissors are shown.

2. Lift the lid partially through the hole and put a string in the lid.

3. Now fill the bag with water up to the yellow line (waterfill line), which is on the back of the bag.

4. Hang the trap outside near the fly problem. Preferably a bit on the edge of the area that must be fly-free, so that you pull the flies away.

Useful advice:

The number of flies and the effectiveness of the trap is affected by the weather. Hang the traps in areas with high temperatures. Preferably in sunny areas. Do not let the trap dry out, top up with water up to the yellow mark on the bag. Avoid placing the trap in places where there is strong wind. Place traps at different heights and in different locations to increase the spread of the lure that attracts the flies. The trap works 2-5 hours after being set up. The trap can advantageously be set up 30 m away from the building/area to be protected. This removes the fly infestation from the buildings/area.

Note: The fly trap does not catch any biting flies.
