Regardless of whether you work with food, care tasks, cleaning or with chemicals, nitrile gloves will be an obvious choice.

These gloves are approved for food and are intended for single use. Good fit and barrier against most chemicals as well as against bacteria and viruses make nitrile gloves a safe choice. Nitrile is a hard-wearing, flexible material produced without latex and silicone and therefore also reduces the risk of allergic reactions.

When should you choose to use disposable gloves?

Gloves can be linked to work situations where contact with chemicals, liquid for a long time that can dry out the skin, contact with body fluids, where there is a risk of infection and when the hands may become undesirably visibly or invisibly contaminated are expected. All gloves can have microscopic holes before use, and gloves are therefore no absolute barrier against the penetration of microbes. Gloves must be seen as an extra layer and contribute to good hand hygiene by reducing contamination of the hands when in contact with infected material or to avoid drying of the hands when working with wet materials.

How should you use disposable gloves?

Before you put on your gloves, your hands must be clean and it is therefore important to have good hand hygiene both before and after working with the disposable gloves.

Gloves are taken out of the box and with a tag on the edge the hand is pryed into the glove and the fingers out into the adapted spaces. The glove is lifted into place and the fingers are helped if necessary. fully out by using the fingers of the other hand and pressing down on both sides of the naughty member. The procedure is then repeated with the other hand.

The gloves can be used on both hands - but not at the same time and can even be turned inside out if you want to.

Zinc:

Rinse hands and wrists well during running, temperate water. Take the desired amount of soap and rub for at least 15 seconds before rinsing off the soap. Remember to get well around the entire hand and wrists, between the fingers and under the nails. The soap is then rinsed off and the hands are patted dry - avoid rubbing the hands, as this can cause the hands to dry out.

Disinfection:

Disinfection of the hands with hand alcohol/gel is carried out after proper hand washing to optimize hand hygiene or is used when there is no access to running water and the hands are visibly clean.

An alcohol-based agent with added glycerol is used for hand disinfection. In Denmark, the ethanol percentage is recommended to be between 75-85%.
